Dear Editor

It has come to my notice that we so much indulge ourselves into less useful political gossip and ignore the most critically important aspects of Humanity.

The Ubuntu philosophy doesn’t at any point call for political bloodshed but instead getting together towards common goals of social and economic humanity.

Throughout the entire COVID period, I saw leaders from across different political groups hide under helping citizens go off empty stomachs many of which did it for even just camera tricks.

Even our own fountain of honor under normal circumstances was asking for four wheel vehicles, not even him could mind about calling in donations for the orphanages.

I wonder if those that donated to have their names read on live streams of the president took courage to donate behind closed doors to Orphanages and ensure food security for our dear ones in such centres.

This negligence doesn’t at all fit under the Ubuntu philosophy.

Well, having quarreled enough, I now please ask you, I mean you reading this to keep our penpals in your thoughts and prayers during this global crisis!

As the man who runs the orphanage, Francis, said, “The big problem we have is that we cannot easily take back all the children, because some of the children have no homes to go to and others if they went home, they would be at great risk of being raped or even starved and other things I cannot imagine. Please provide and pray for financial provision because it gonna be expensive to manage this situation, pray for wisdom, for courage”

Donate a coin, food, clothing or shelter. Humanity costs nothing, stand by the Ubuntu philosophy.

Ali Mude, Nansana

Your site looks great but I did notice that the word “atleast” appears to be spelled incorrectly. I saw a couple small issues like this. I thought you would like to know!

In case you wanted to fix it, in the past we’ve used services from a websites like HelloSpell.com to keep our site error-free.
