Something called ignorance forces one to think an opposition MP they voted in their area is the answer to their very many problems made almost insurmountable by Covid-19 outbreak.
Ugandans’ voting of people whose only dream is to get near power to quarrel with Museveni is the reason why roads across their unknown constituencies now are similar to graves.
I wish 2026 was near here. I would travel to every remote district in this country to give several lecturers on how president Museveni, if handled well can, eventually, place power in the hands of opposition, his talkative but coward enemies.
We risk a lot of the times but there is nothing to do. This is our country. I once wrote to keep Mr. Museveni in power. Those were those days. I now know that you can only be satisfied as a politician by truly working for your people.
I was an active politician for long. We once, together with others, very young then, thought brown envelopes given to us was the only seen thing we could be gifted with after blackening honest men’s names in government.
I gained nothing. What I can show as a result of my actions is my country Uganda, that remained, some wealth and this fame that will end the day I will choose fear over ability to speak bitter and rare truths.
One by one, all this regime’s enemies will go back to where they vowed never to refer to home. Betty Kamya’s blood is now purely NRM.
You will see the whole meaning of the essays I wrote after another notable man, half-heartedly fighting Museveni, on opposition, slowly but surely climbs upstairs, majestically, to dine with Museveni.
Once an MP, who was in fact very common before winning elections, wins, he will dump his known phone numbers in a deep sea. You believed when they said to those in your forgotten area that they were Jesus on earth.
Opposition politicians often cease reading newspapers with sense in them when they are carried to glittering things by the weak at thinking.
Sensational articles are what these days’ politicians read during their time at work. Sense is followed during free time.
We have learned how to write to force them react, to expose themselves. Nabbosa Ssebugwawo shocked many. I was not shocked.
In the long queue, one by one, every one including Ssegona, Mpuuga and Nambooze, and Zaake, ETC, will one day, publicly, announce that they needed to work with ‘the regime’ for the sake of developing Uganda.
If you had voted NRM MPs, your area would be far better than it looks today. You hate suffering, but you are voting opposition. Who is in Parliament to represent you people in constituencies in Kampala?
If elections themselves are not discovered very soon as the only solution to our problems, then election of leaders for more than twenty years now has been the biggest creator of those problems [above] this country has ever had. It is wasting time.
No one among Museveni’s opponents will ever mention this. [You are waking up. Trouble ahead]. Politics is a cash crop.
Besigye was misunderstood when he mentioned that president Museveni is still so revered in rural districts that he cannot be overthrown through elections. It is absurd. Besigye is on a rare track. He will shock many soon. I am impressed. His lectures [on Covid-19 virus].
This part’s other intention was to attract some politicians’ attention. It will continue later this week. Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo’s is a minister, near power. Follow….Keenly. They are to be here. All of them, to learn, and to change. sekkabagenda@gmail.com
