Tokyo Olympics 2020: USWNT return to winning ways

After a humbling 3-0 loss to Sweden in their opener, Team USA rallied hard from the outset against the Football Ferns.

Rose Lavelle, Lindsay Horan, and Alex Morgan joined Christen Press on the scoresheet for the USWNT, for a 6-1 win that kept alive their hopes of progressing from the group stage of the tournament.

New Zealand now have two losses from two, and face an up-hill battle to qualify for the knockout phase, with their final game coming against Sweden, who are so far yet to lose at the Games.
