The Masaka High Court has once again denied National Unity Platform MPs bail.
Legislators Allan Ssewannyana (Makindye West) and Mohammed Ssegirinya (Kawempe North) are accused of participating in the Masaka killings that left about 26 people dead.
The defendants were seeking bail, citing poor health, among other reasons.
Mr Ssegirinya showed pictures of his rotting foot, while Makindye West’s Ssewannyana sought permission to undress himself claiming to have been tortured in his genitals.
However, Justice Lawrence Tweyanze denied the duo bail, saying it will jeopardize investigations since they are currently under trial.
