Few people would probably believe a Born again Church would be based in a Four or Five Star Hotel for years, footing daily high rent which few moderate citizens can afford.

In addition,  some Ugandans have the belief that many Born again Church Founders start their Gospel preaching Crusades in humble makeshift structures or carrying out street preaching until that time when they raise enough money to build or rent their Church Premises. It’s not the case with Amazing Grace Faith Church!

The Church has been operating from Imperial Royale Hotel since November 2015.

Apostle Anthony Muhumuza, the Lead Pastor at Amazing Grace Faith Church, told journalists, in a Press Conference at Kampala Serena Hotel on Wednesday, that they are relocating to former NAKUMATT premises in Bukoto, a Kampala suburb, where they have leased the premises for close to two billion Uganda shillings (Ushs 2Bn).

“The main aim of relocating to Bukoto is to have a larger and permanent home to accommodate the growing congregation”, said Apostle Muhumuza.

He said the Church will officially hold its first service at the new home on 25th April 2021.

“However, there is a major event of dedicating the Church auditorium to God scheduled for 4th July 2021 when the Church marks 10 years in Ministry”, he said.

“We have decided to make Bukoto our new home because we do not want to go very far from Kampala City based Christians that have been praying from our church”, added Muhumuza.

He appealed to the Government to extend COVID 19 curfew hours from 9.00 PM to 11.00 PM, to enable Christians attend night prayers uninterrupted.
