Newly signed Paris Saint-Germain star, Lionel Messi has revealed that he will play his first game for the club when the staff think he is ready.
PSG will play Strasbourg at home in Ligue 1 on Saturday before travelling to Brest next Friday.
They will then play Reims later on August 29 before the first international break of the season.
And the former Barcelona captain was asked when he could play his first game for the club and he said: “I’m going to begin training but I can’t exactly answer your question. When the staff think I’m okay, I’m ready and willing to play.
“I was on holiday and it’s very new so I spoke yesterday (on Tuesday) with the technical staff. Maybe I need a pre-season myself.
“I don’t know.”
