The Flames of Malawi did everything they could to make sure the Cranes players lost all the confidence they had, before the game. The Cranes suffered more, and miserably, by conceding an early goal.
Being a country facing a challenge of lack of gifted strikers, who can score goals whenever asked, Uganda eventually handed victory to Malawi, the thing they (Malawi) really wanted.
Having qualified for the first time in almost forty years in 2017 and again in 2019, now Uganda Cranes, together with Moses Magogo, whose named we newspaper men have hyped since he ascended to power to Mengo, have sank like a stone, deep in water.
It is a shame. It is absolutely unbelievable. Sorry to Uganda, to Moses Magogo and all local-based coaches in the country.

Malawi has beaten Uganda 1-0 to qualify for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, in Cameroon. Humbled!
