President Yoweri Museveni commissioned the ultra-modern Tororo Main market in Tororo municipality as part of his campaign trail in Bukedi sub-region.
The market will accommodate over 1700 vendors, especially women and youths.
Speaking at the function, the President said such developments indicate the way the NRM does its work.

He, however, said that having put in place such facilities , the onus is on people to stop working for only the stomach but also ensure to have something in their pockets.
“Work for both the stomach and pocket but with calculation. If all homes that have land do that, the whole area will be part of the money economy,” he said.
