President Yoweri Museveni will this evening talk to Ugandans on the new measure to curb Corona Virus in his 11th address to the Nation.
The new measure will likely target the truck drivers especially those from interstate trade crossing the boarders. Three nationals from Tanzania and Kenya all have been found to have the virus and the ministry of Health have made efforts already transported the individuals to their respective country.
Don Wanyama the senior presidential press secretary said the president will update the nation on the new issues regarding the corona virus. The address will be relayed on all radio stations and TVs across the country today Sunday at 8pm. This comes after the Ministry of Health technical team briefed the nation on Corona virus issues at the media centre Uganda yesterday Saturday. Ugandans are still on the Lockdown announced by the His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for the next 21 days. As the Lockdown continue to bite on the people, the majority of Ugandans are facing with hunger and are still waiting on the food promised by the state to the most vulnerable who have been making their incomes on daily basis, patients in the Hospitals, children in the homes and the elderly. The unusual situation is facing every Ugandan from all walks of life and the majority are living in dreadful fear and hope the tormentor Corona will disappear after this suffering of the Lockdown effects. Every part of this business in the city and countryside is being affected. The Landlords, banks, SACCOs, businesses and everything that has breath and life is crying. The religious community think that all of you Ugandans begin to come back to the Lord and turn away from evil and do good and stop the desperate love for Money as has been severally stated by our President that Ugandans love money so much, he only emphasizes for individuals to eat the money they have worked for not that cumulated out of corrupt practices. Families are also locked down and the children in homes are dumbfounded seeing their often absentee parents being at home with them from morning to morning and here they spend all the day eating and doing
